    September is Youth & Young Adult Month. Our young folks have a lot of great events planned and pray that you can attend all events.

    The 1st event is Youth & Young Adult Revival September 6th – 8th at 6:30 P.M.

         Tuesday September 6th Evangelist is Minister Herbert Moss {Crumbey Bethel Primitive Baptist Church}
    Wednesday September 7th Guest Evangelist will be Minister Landas Davis {New Rising Star P.B. Church}
    Thursday September 8th Guest Evangelist will be Pastor Tadera White {For – Word Christian Center.

    2nd is The Youth Empowerment Workshop – Saturday September 17, 2016 at 8 A.M. This will be lessons for young men and women to inspire them to be all they can be in God’s plan for them. Registration is free and there will be a free breakfast. Ages 10 -18

    3rd  is Youth & Young Adult Day Sunday September 18th starting with Church School at 9:30 A.M. – 11 A.M. Morning Worship with Guest Evangelist Minister Kendall Latham {For – Word Christian Center}. The colors for this great day is Red & White.

    4th is Back 2 School Block Party, September 24, 2016  12P.M. – 4 P.M., join us for school supply giveaways, food fun & games.

    5th will be the Youth Explosion, September 30, 2016 at 7 P.M.. The concert will feature combined choirs, praise & mime dance and a special guest.

    The theme for the month is: The struggle is REAL, but we are MORE than conquerors through Jesus Christ: Romans 8:37

  • Alabaster Community Give Backers is a community based volunteer organization whose goal is to help anyone in need. Whether it’s a single parent, a senior who is struggling financially, or someone who has suffered a loss due to a natural disaster such as a fire or storm, Alabama Community Give Backers seeks to reach out in a tangible way. We accept: clothing, furniture, kitchen items and new items such as underwear, socks, and diapers for both adults and children. We also collect scrap metal to sell to provide money for our rent and utilities. Volunteers are also needed to help sort items and do other various jobs.   • STAIR (Start The Adventure In Reading) – is a local nonprofit that serves 12 Birmingham City Schools, providing one-on-one tutoring for second graders who need help in reading.
    STAIR is looking for volunteers who can commit to tutor one afternoon a week, after school for 1 ½ hours. Training is provided and no teaching experience is needed.
